Picks are opinions, not guarantees. Odds may have moved since publishing.

Saturday's college football slate is loaded, and I went through the biggest games to find the player props that stand out most. Indiana at Michigan, Ole Miss at Texas, Houston at Utah and Pittsburgh at Miami are the matchups covered below.

I choose these props using PF Rating, which blends the game environment, the defensive matchup, recent hit rates and scoring or yardage averages into one score. Some of these players have only a handful of games behind them, so I flag small samples where they apply. Lines move, so check your book before you bet.

Indiana Hoosiers at Michigan Wolverines

Indiana carries a 6-1 record into Ann Arbor, where Michigan sits at 4-2. This Big Ten matchup kicks off at 12:00 p.m. ET on FOX, and the total around 42 points to a modest scoring environment, which shapes both of the props I like here. The Hoosiers sit fifth in PropFinder's power ratings and Michigan is 22nd, so both of my picks come from the Michigan side.

Tommy Carr Under 0.5 Passing Touchdowns (+102, FanDuel)

PASSING TOUCHDOWNSIND@MICH· Oct 24, 12:00 PM ET

Tommy Carr

Under 0.5 Passing Touchdowns

Michigan quarterback Tommy Carr has a PF Rating of 92.8 on the Under 0.5 passing touchdowns line, priced at +102 at FanDuel. The game environment grades well for an under, with the total sitting around 42, and the sample is small: he has gone under in 1 of 1 tracked games, averaging 0.0 passing touchdowns over his last five.

Indiana ranks 243rd against quarterbacks, which is a soft number and the main risk here. Treat it as a small-sample play driven by the low total, and note that +102 means you get plus money on a very low bar.

Hogan Hansen Under 2.5 Receptions (-148, FanDuel)

RECEPTIONSIND@MICH· Oct 24, 12:00 PM ET

Hogan Hansen

Under 2.5 Receptions

Michigan tight end Hogan Hansen has a PF Rating of 67.3 on the Under 2.5 receptions line, available at -148 at FanDuel. He stayed under in 3 of his last 5 and 3 of his last 6, with averages of 2.0 receptions over the last five games and 2.2 over the last ten.

The matchup is middle of the road, with Indiana ranking 124th against tight ends, and a low game total limits pass volume. This is the lowest rated pick of the day, and the -148 price is steep, so it is the one to shop around or skip.

Ole Miss Rebels at Texas Longhorns

Ole Miss is 5-1 and Texas is 4-2 in this ABC prime time game at 7:30 p.m. ET. Texas ranks sixth and Ole Miss eighth in PropFinder's power ratings, and the game environment grades at the top with a total near 53.5. High scoring expectations make the receiving props in this one worth a look.

Jermaine Bishop Jr. Over 20.5 Receiving Yards (-114, FanDuel)

RECEIVING YARDSMISS@TEX· Oct 24, 7:30 PM ET

Jermaine Bishop Jr.

Over 20.5 Receiving Yards

Texas wide receiver Jermaine Bishop Jr. has a PF Rating of 91.2 on the Over 20.5 receiving yards line at -114 with FanDuel. He is averaging 24.0 receiving yards in the tracked sample, which has just one game, so the rating leans heavily on the game environment more than on a track record.

Ole Miss ranks 139th against wide receivers, a middle of the pack matchup. With a total near 53.5, the yardage is there for the taking if Bishop Jr. gets his looks. Considering the thin sample, this is a lighter confidence play.

Caleb Cunningham Over 18.5 Receiving Yards (-114, FanDuel)

RECEIVING YARDSMISS@TEX· Oct 24, 7:30 PM ET

Caleb Cunningham

Over 18.5 Receiving Yards

Ole Miss wide receiver Caleb Cunningham has a PF Rating of 84.3 on the Over 18.5 receiving yards line at -114 at FanDuel. He has cleared that number in 5 of his last 5 games, and his last ten tracked games show the same 5 of 5 record, averaging 39.0 receiving yards in both windows, more than double the line.

The matchup helps a lot: Texas ranks 249th against wide receivers, among the softest numbers on the board. Pair a cushion of roughly 20 yards on his average with a big game total, and this is the most appealing prop in this game.

Houston Cougars at Utah Utes

Houston, 6-1, visits Utah in the late window at 10:15 p.m. ET on ESPN. Houston is 19th and Utah is 15th in PropFinder's power ratings, and the total of about 56.5 points to plenty of scoring. Both picks come from the Utah side.

Devon Dampier Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-122, FanDuel)

PASSING TOUCHDOWNSHOU@UTAH· Oct 24, 10:15 PM ET

Devon Dampier

Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns

Utah quarterback Devon Dampier has a PF Rating of 91.2 on the Over 1.5 passing touchdowns line, priced at -122 at FanDuel. He has thrown at least two touchdowns in 5 of his last 5 and 10 of his last 10, averaging 2.4 passing touchdowns over both his last five and last ten games.

Houston ranks 79th against quarterbacks, a decent matchup, and the high total supports more scoring through the air. The consistency over a 10 game sample is what makes this pick stand out.

Braden Pegan Over 4.5 Receptions (-120, Fanatics)

RECEPTIONSHOU@UTAH· Oct 24, 10:15 PM ET

Braden Pegan

Over 4.5 Receptions

Utah wide receiver Braden Pegan has a PF Rating of 83.2 on the Over 4.5 receptions line at -120 with Fanatics. He has gone over in 3 of his last 5 and 5 of his last 10, with averages of 5.6 receptions over the last five and 5.3 over the last ten, both above the line.

Houston ranks 42nd against wide receivers, a tougher matchup, so the hit rate is closer to a coin flip than Dampier's. The volume is the case here, and the price is fair.

Pittsburgh Panthers at Miami (FL) Hurricanes

Pittsburgh is 5-2 and visits Miami at noon ET on ESPN. Miami ranks third in PropFinder's power ratings, while Pittsburgh is 46th. With a total near 48.5, the game environment is moderate, and the picks come from both sides.

Javian Mallory Over 0.5 Touchdowns (-120, FanDuel)

TOUCHDOWNSPITT@MIA· Oct 24, 12:00 PM ET

Javian Mallory

Over 0.5 Touchdowns

Miami running back Javian Mallory has a PF Rating of 85.8 on the Over 0.5 touchdowns line, priced at -120 at FanDuel. He is averaging 2.0 touchdowns in the tracked sample, which is just one game, so this is a thin sample and the rating leans on the matchup and Miami's place near the top of the power ratings.

Pittsburgh ranks 155th against running backs, a middle of the road matchup. Miami's place near the top of the power ratings points to scoring chances. Keep your sizing small given how little data backs this one.

Malik Knight Over 24.5 Receiving Yards (-101, DraftKings)

RECEIVING YARDSPITT@MIA· Oct 24, 12:00 PM ET

Malik Knight

Over 24.5 Receiving Yards

Pittsburgh wide receiver Malik Knight has a PF Rating of 81.3 on the Over 24.5 receiving yards line at -101 with DraftKings. He cleared the number in 4 of his last 5 and 9 of his last 10, averaging 44.8 receiving yards over the last five and 58.5 over the last ten.

Miami ranks 163rd against wide receivers, a below average matchup that works in his favor. An average roughly double the line gives plenty of room, and -101 is close to even money, making this the best price of the Pittsburgh pair.
