Best MLB Home Run Props Today HR Picks for Monday, June 8

I went through all eight games on Monday, June 8th to find the best home run matchups so you don't have to. Using Propfinder's data tools, I identified a combination of vulnerable pitchers, strong hitter splits, favorable weather, and ballpark factors. Below are my top three MLB home run props and best home run picks for today's slate.

Pick 1: Yordan Alvarez to hit a HR --- (+251, Kalshi)

Matchup vs Grayson Rodriquez (Diamondbacks), Angel Stadium, 9:38 PM EST

Alvarez might be a boring pick, but when a hitter is this hot and still has this value, it's hard to pass up on. Rodriquez has severely struggled vs left-handed hitters this season, allowing a 2.7 HR/9 in his 2026 campaign. He throws the Four-Seamer at a 56% clip to lefties on the year and it has been an extremely vulnerable pitch. In his last 5 starts, he has given up a 20% barrel, 45% Fly ball rate, .840 SLG, .480 ISO, & many other stats pointing to this vulnerability.

So what made me pick Yordan? To start, he is today's leader in multiple categories our NEW zone matchups cheatsheet. This means that not only is Rodriguez throwing a vulnerable pitch, he is throwing it exactly where Yordan does immense damage.

Against the heater, Yordan averages 282 feet of distance per BBE (batted ball event - any ball hit into play). With the wind blowing out and this stadium being favorable for home runs in general, Yordan shouldn't have a problem putting one in the seats.

Pick 2: Junior Caminero to hit a HR --- (+350, Kalshi)

Matchup vs Connelly Early (Red Sox), Tropicana Field, 6:40 PM EST

Junior "send it to the moon" Caminero is second on my list for Monday's slate. Early has really struggled vs. right-handed batters in his last 3 starts, giving up four homers during this stretch with two launched in his most recent outing. During this three game span, he has given up an absurd 48.8% fly ball rate, showing that this clearly isn't a fluke. Junior's 14.3% pull barrel rate, low whiff/K/swinging strike rates, good zone match-up, 42.9% fly ball rate, & more, should give him a great chance to send one in the seats.

Not to mention, his home ballpark heavily favors righties, requiring only a 315-370 foot flyball to leave his pull-side.

Pick 3: Samuel Basallo to hit a HR --- (+500, Fanatics)

Matchup vs Emerson Hancock (Mariners), Oriole Park at Camden Yards 6:35 PM EST

Rounding out the list is Samuel Basallo. Basallo has been HOT in his last 15 BBE against Hancock's top two pitches, posting a 13.3% pull barrel, 40% fly ball rate, four hits over 350 feet, and an average BBE distance of 288.4 feet.

Hancock's mix matches poorly against Basallo, which is great for us!

If he pulls the ball, which he's proven he can do, he only needs to hit it somewhere between 320-380 feet for it to get out.
