Best MLB Home Run Props Today HR Picks for Friday, August 28

I went through all 15 games on Friday, August 28th to find the best home run matchups so you don’t have to. Using PropFinder’s data tools, I’ve identified a combination of vulnerable pitchers, strong hitter splits, and ballpark factors. Below are my top three MLB home run props and best home run picks for today’s slate.

Matt Olson to hit a HR --- (+290, Kalshi)

Olson draws Tomoyuki Sugano at Truist Park, and the model flags Sugano as one of the most homer-prone arms on the board against left-handed bats, grading him at a 0.99 HR-risk mark to that side. Olson has been the most dependable power source in this card: 37 home runs, a .535 slugging percentage and an .870 OPS across 134 games.

His batted-ball and power scores in this matchup land in the 91-95 range, the highest of the three legs. At +290 for a hitter with this much thump getting a hittable right-hander at home, he is the natural anchor.

Hunter Feduccia to hit a HR --- (+1200, BetMGM)

This is the swing-for-the-fences leg. Feduccia has just 3 home runs on the season, but his recent batted-ball profile is loud: a 95.2 mph average exit velocity and a 26.3% barrel rate over his last 25, with quality contact in 8 of his last 12.

The Dodgers are in Detroit facing Drew Anderson, a right-hander the model grades at a 0.43 HR risk to lefties. At +1200 this is pure ceiling, a small piece of the card that turns a good day into a huge one if it hits.

Kody Clemens to hit a HR --- (+433, Polymarket)

Clemens brings legitimate left-handed power to the middle of this card: 21 home runs and a .460 slugging percentage over 117 games. He is home at Target Field against Luis Castillo, and the model tags Castillo at a 0.67 HR-risk grade versus left-handed hitters.

At +433 Clemens is the balanced middle leg, sitting between Olson’s safety and Feduccia’s moonshot.
